Rice Warner has today published new research, sponsored by the ASX, which examines the potential cost savings to managed funds market participants if they were to adopt the proposed ASX Managed Funds Service.
Australians continue to benefit from decreases in superannuation fees, with the latest Financial Services Council/Rice Warner Superannuation Fees Report showing a clear downward trend since the study commenced in 2002.
The ASX has commissioned Rice Warner to undertake research to determine the extent to which the AMFS will deliver cost reductions to participants and other stakeholders across the industry. The full report can be downloaded here.
All superannuation funds are considering the structure of their MySuper product to be introduced from July 2013. As part of this process, trustees will need to decide an appropriate asset allocation for MySuper.
