Ex-NAB Tim Jenkins joins Rice Warner

Tim Jenkins is joining Rice Warner as Executive General Manager, Superannuation.

Tim has over 30 years’ experience in superannuation and financial services, most recently as Head of Insurance in Super at NAB. As a proven successful senior executive, Tim comes with considerable experience and knowledge within the superannuation, retirement and group insurance space.

Tim’s focus at Rice Warner will be on providing strategic and tactical advice to superannuation clients, including product management and development. Tim will also lead Rice Warner’s existing high-performing superannuation consulting team.

Over a broad and distinguished career to date, Tim has had wide involvement in Australia, New Zealand, Asia and the UK in areas such as actuarial valuations, defined benefit management, default superannuation, successor fund transfers, risk and insurance in super. He started out with Mercer as an actuary before holding several management positions including global leadership of defined contribution consulting, business leadership for Asia-Pacific retirement consulting and as Managing Director of Mercer New Zealand. He moved to NAB in 2013, where his roles have focussed on the transition of $25bn assets to MySuper, the successor fund transfer of over 1 million members in NAB superannuation funds to the new MLC Super Fund, and the establishment of a new insurance operating model following the sale of 80% of MLC Life Insurance to Nippon Life.

Tim will officially join the Rice Warner team on the 9^th April 2018.
