Rice Warner Pre-Budget Submission 2016 – 2017

Rice Warner has submitted its Pre-Budget submission to Treasury.

As we head towards May’s important budget, there has been significant media commentary and speculation around superannuation reform.  We are concerned at the large number of proposals, many of which have not been costed and which do not show the long term impact of the suggested changes.

Rice Warner has taken its submission to the Tax White Paper Task Force and looked at the elements which could be taken up in this year’s Budget.  Some other reforms would need to be considered as part of the overall tax changes which the government intends taking to the next election.
